About Robin Scholte

I am a Dutch photographer, specialized in wildlife, nature and landscape photography.

After my education at the Hotel Managementschool in Maastricht (Netherlands), I became commercial director of a wholesaler for construction and industry. Over a period of more than 20 years, we have become a major player in this industry with 4 branches and almost 100 employees. A very beautiful but completely different industry than my education and passion, although my position often allowed me to think out of the box and manage the organization in a businesslike but also creative way.

After my career as commercial director I have found the time and peace to fully focus on my old hobby, a new adventure and a great challenge… photography as (art) work.

I capture the beauty and power of nature, the expression of animals and the color experience that we experience daily in my photography. Where I work and live according to the motto “You can only waste time when you forget to enjoy”. I enjoy the preparation, creative process and execution to capture my vision of our amazing nature in my photography. Of course always with full respect for nature and wildlife.

Since 2021 I have also been working as a guide for Wildpix Travel and for the coming period I will travel to Poland (summer and winter), Spain, Guatemala and South Africa.
